And that still holds true today. We’re taking a look at the Pure Elan Connect+ and first impressions are great! At Pure, we live and breathe our motto “joyful listening” and we want for our customers to feel the same, which is why we have taken our easy-to-use features and wrapped them up in a timeless and simple design. CDs are forever - a CD player is still worth its money DAB respectively DAB+ (Digital Audio Broadcasting) radios have several advantages when compared to traditional FM (Frequency Modulation) radios:

DAB+ digital radio brings you a diverse range of great content in highly-detailed, digital-quality sound; much of which is only available on digital radio. Elan Connect automatically finds all available digital stations in your area for an easy listening experience, plus there’s FM radio for any station that has not yet gone digital. The benefit of a small TFT display over a traditional LCD display is that you can see more information at once. This means programme information, such as the name and artist of the current song, can be seen at a glance rather than waiting for it to scroll across. The Pure Elan Connect+’s 2.4-inch display may be colour, but it isn’t a touchscreen. There’s no app, so it connects to your home’s Wi-Fi network via the WPS button on a Wi-Fi router. Easy if you know what you’re doing – and it worked fine in our test – but this isn’t ideal if you’re gifting this product to someone who may be less tech-savvy. The sound quality of FM radios is inferior to that of DAB+. DAB+ provides better sonic quality and, accordingly, a clearer and more precise sonic experience. If receiving the preferred station via FM radio is difficult, and it is available online, an internet radio is a good choice. Which types of devices are there? Enjoy live DAB+ and FM Radio as well as Internet Radio stations from all over the world while the Bluetooth connectivity offers easy pairing to compatible devices. The main exclusions are: cosmetic and malicious damage, costs that you may incur due to your product being unusable, and installation and disposal charges for a replacement product.The Pure Elan Connect’s design is unlikely to catch the eye.
